Natalie and Taylor were married in a Fall wedding in Paso Robles, California at their family’s estate. The vast, golden rolling hills and vineyards of Paso Robles offered a gorgeous backdrop to a most vibrant day. The artist, astrologer bride and interior designer groom created a wedding day filled with unique rituals and personal touches.
With the influence of the stars in mind, the bride and groom picked their wedding date based on where Venus, the planet of love and marriage, and Saturn, the planet of commitment and responsibility, would be in the sky. Even the ceremony included astrological elements, with five family members representing the planets based on their moon signs offering candles, while the bride represented the sun and groom the moon. After the ceremony, the couple took time away during golden hour to read each other private vows and to seal the marriage with a ritual for auspiciousness.
Natalie handmade all of the stationery and paper goods for the wedding. She even silk screened her own veil and bridesmaid’s dresses with astrological symbols. The decor and many lounges for the wedding were designed by Taylor. Amidst abundantly colorful florals, and wonderful food and drinks, they celebrated, toasted to joy and love, and danced. With both of their creative energies at play, and with the support of their family and friends, their wedding day was truly meaningful and unique. Joy was felt by all.
