Akasha and Dan’s had their wedding at Hotel Californian, Santa Barbara’s chic, luxury hotel, with clean white, mediterranean architecture and terracotta roofs. This wedding venue in downtown Santa Barbara offers breathtaking mountain and ocean views in every direction you look. It’s a total vibe for a wedding, especially when combined with the modern style of wedding design from Laurel and Rose, one of our favorite wedding planners in the west coast. The reception played on natural elements and textures with stylish florals at every turn.

Akasha and Dan are the most kind, lovely couple. We had such a wonderful time with them in La Jolla for their San Diego engagement session that we looked forward to photographing their wedding all year. Good people in love are so inspiring to photograph, and their friends and family were super fun too! It was a joy to capture this wedding.
